Do this, in order

1. 1Open Retail from your workspace sidebar.
2. 2Scan the stat cards for today's sales, revenue, products, and low-stock count.
3. 3If Needs attention shows a red item, click it to review low stock or open sales.
4. 4Click New sale to start a ticket, or Inventory to manage products.

First time with no data

1. 1Use Add a product, Open the register, or Import products from CSV from the welcome panel.

Retail

Your shop overview for sales, stock, and recent activity.

New sale

Opens the point of sale to ring up a customer.

Today's sales / revenue

How many sales you completed today and how much they brought in.

Products / low stock

How many products you carry and how many are running low.

Needs attention

Quick links when something needs action, like low stock or today's sales.

Recent sales

The latest completed tickets with amount, payment type, and customer.

Do this, in order

1. 1Open Retail → Register.
2. 2Add items.
3. 3Click Pay and finish the sale as in Take a register payment.

Opens payment methods.

Do this, in order

1. 1Open Retail → Inventory.
2. 2Search or filter to find a product.
3. 3Click Add product to create one, or click a row for the full product page.
4. 4Set unit price and minimum stock so the dashboard can warn you early.
5. 5Use Import CSV for a bulk load.

Quick view drawer

1. 1Click the eye icon on a row.
2. 2Review SKU, price, and stock.
3. 3Click Open full page to edit everything.

Export sales

1. 1Apply filters if needed.
2. 2Click Export CSV in the toolbar.

Do this, in order

1. 1Open Retail → Purchases.
2. 2Click New purchase order.
3. 3Pick a supplier, add products and quantities, and save.
4. 4When goods arrive, open the order and mark it received.
5. 5Click a row anytime to see line items and status history.

Filter open orders

1. 1Use the status filter for draft or ordered.
2. 2Work through received orders to update stock.

Start a restock order.

Supplier / Status / Total

Who you ordered from, whether it is draft, ordered, or received, and the amount.

Stats

Open orders, received orders, and total value in view.

Do this, in order

1. 1Open Retail → Returns.
2. 2Search by sale reference, reason, or refund method.
3. 3Click a row to open the return detail if available.
4. 4To create a return, start from the original sale on Sales → sale detail → Process return.

Export returns

1. 1Apply filters.
2. 2Click Export CSV.

Refunds linked to original sales.

Sale ref

Short reference to the original sale.

Reason / Amount / Method

Why it was returned, how much was refunded, and how money went back.

Stats

Return count, total refunded, and items returned in view.

Do this, in order

1. 1At shift start, click Open register.
2. 2Enter opening cash (float in the drawer) and confirm.
3. 3Run sales at Point of sale while the session shows open.
4. 4At shift end, click Close register on the active session.
5. 5Enter the cash you counted and any closing note.
6. 6Review expected vs actual cash, then confirm close.
7. 7Optional: open Z report on a past session for your records.

Why POS blocks sales

1. 1If Register closed appears at POS, return here and open a session first.

Create a new customer record.

Do this, in order

1. 1Open Retail → Discounts.
2. 2Click New discount.
3. 3Name it, choose percentage or fixed amount, and say what it applies to.
4. 4Set dates if it should not run forever.
5. 5Save and confirm it shows as active.
6. 6Discounts apply automatically on the next sale preview at the register.

Turn off a discount

1. 1Open the row menu.
2. 2Edit to deactivate, or delete with a reason.

Create a percentage or fixed amount off.

Type / Applies to / Active

Whether it is percent or fixed, what it covers, and if it is live now.

Start / end dates

Optional window when the discount runs.

Do this, in order

2. 2Click Sales, Inventory, or Profit and loss.
3. 3Read the top metric cards for the headline numbers.
4. 4Scroll charts for trends and low-stock or expense breakdowns.
5. 5Switch tabs to answer different questions (selling vs stocking vs margin).

Revenue, tax, discounts, refunds, and totals over time.

Stock value, low stock, and out-of-stock products.

Revenue, cost of goods, expenses, and net profit.

Do this, in order

1. 1Open the sale from the Sales list.
2. 2Review items, payment, and customer.
3. 3Click a field like Note to edit it inline if needed.
4. 4To refund, click Process return, choose items, enter a reason, and confirm.
5. 5Optional: click Record in Finance if you need the sale in Finance.

Delete a sale

1. 1Click Delete.
2. 2Enter a reason and confirm. This is audited and should be rare.

What the customer owed and what was collected.

How the sale was paid (cash, card, etc.).

Customer

Linked customer or walk-in.

Line items

Products, quantities, and prices on this ticket.

Returns

Any refunds already recorded against this sale.

Start a refund for items on this sale.

Record in Finance

Send income to your Finance books if not already posted.

Do this, in order

1. 1Open the customer from the Customers list.
2. 2Click any field to edit it inline and save.
3. 3Upload a photo if you use one at checkout.
4. 4Review credit balance and recent sales.
5. 5Optional: use Continue with Sales contact if you want them in Sales too.

Contact details you edit by clicking the value.
